Description
Castelforte's Amarone della Valpolicella is made from grapes that are dried in a fruit-drying room until January, following the region's most traditional methods.
Slow fermentation and 24 months of aging in oak result in a wine with a deep garnet color and a rich bouquet.
The nose reveals notes of cherry jam, fruit preserved in liqueur, cinnamon, and nuts. On the palate, it is full-bodied, well-structured, and persistent, with elegant lingering notes of vanilla and coffee.
